I've been way too busy the last few days to have much time for blogging, both reading and posting. So it was a pleasant surprise to find a recent post from
Boing Boing discussing a
NY Times article about people from Denmark being happier than any other Western country. Why, you ask? Well, apparently they don't expect good things to happen as much as other western cultures, so as a result when good things happen, they appreciate it much more. Seems to validate the point of view that I advocated
not too long ago.
