The Repubs are choking on Gore's statements, especially the one that wants to empower the people to generate their own electricity.

I can't help but to be amused that they view "the Goracle" as such political kryptonite; his appearances seems to strike fear and create the need for the right to lash out against him. Could it be the belated recognition that he really should have been President and would have done a far better job? Probably not, more likely just a reaction to his status as the strongest candidate that the Democrats could field.
