(Fast) Food For (Frivolous) Thought

  • Why does "cleave" mean both split apart and stick together?
  • When they ship styrofoam, what do they pack it in?
  • Did kamikazee pilots wear helmets?
  • Can you think of another word for synonym?
  • Do vegetarians eat animal crackers?
  • No wonder the world is as messed up as it is: lemon juice contains artificial flavor but dishwashing soap contains real lemons!

    Never thought of that "cleave" point. It reminds me of that Carlinism that asks, "Why do we park in driveways and drive on parkways." Pretty witty stuff.
