Facts...maybe, Useless...yes!

I can't be sure that these Useless Facts have ANY legitimacy, but in any event they provide some time wasting amusement:
  • By the time they are 65 years old, most Americans have watched more than nine years worth of television.
  • Rubber bands last longer when refrigerated.
  • Two-thirds of the world's eggplant is grown in New Jersey.
  • "Stewardesses" is the longest word that is typed with only the left hand.
  • Lip stick contains fish scales.
  • Chickens can't swallow while they are upside down.
  • 4000 people are injured by teapots each year.
  • If you fart consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb.
    • (But I'm guessing that you would have very few friends.)
