Conventional wisdom is that you should maintain a cohesive theme and point of view when you blog. To jump back and forth from serious topics to frivolous ones isn't recommended. Screw conventional wisdom, I'll do what I want, like linking to this funny video of a Weird Al song with cheesy amateurish animation.
