Happy New Year
Apparently ABC was able to touch up the paint on their "Dorian Gray-like" portrait of Dick Clark so that he could host the New Year's Eve festivities. Me, for the first time ever just went to bed early since in reality it's just another night.

It seems to be a pretty sad state of affairs that the the new generation of hosts for this forced frivolity include two of the biggest himbos out there, Ryan Seacrest and Carson Daly. My temptation is to say that Anderson Cooper was out of place with this group, but on further reflection, perhaps not.

This leads me dangerously close to a new rant, but I'll avoid the temptation for now. Here's hoping that you all have a healthy and happy new year! And for those who like me might have missed the ball drop, here's a video of balls dropping that might be an acceptable substitute.
