Confrontational Marketing -- Building Brand Awareness in a Saturated Market (VIA Adrants)
An account of one of the newest marketing schemes being used by Starbucks. They pay guys to attach a cup of Starbucks to the roof of their car, and drive around so you think that he's "forgotten" the cup up there. Let's see...scam me and embarrass me, and that's going to motivate me to buy your overpriced (but tasty) coffee? Interesting choice.
