Chicken To RideA cute little animation that illustrates a mondegreen for a classic Beatles song. The term comes from the writer Sylvia Wright's childhood memory of the folksong "The Bonny Earl Of Morray". She heard "they have slain the Earl of Morray and Lady Mondegreen" as opposed to the actual "they have slain the Earl of Morray and laid him on the green". Hence, misheard lyrics get called mondegreens. Once they get in your head, you seldom can get them out. To this day, whenever I hear the song Love Train, I can't help but think they are saying
