BlueJersey.net looked at the narrowing lead that Corzine has in the NJ gubernatorial race and went on to
speculate about who might replace him in the senate. An interesting choice that I wouldn't have thought of is
Paul Krugman. Now that the Times has made it tougher to view his opinions, maybe this isn't such a bad idea to get his voice heard by a wider audience. Probably not electable, but an interesting choice. Realistically, I could see Codey stepping up to the plate to fill out the term. A nice enough guy who has done a reasonable job as governor, if you ignore his obsession to build a new stadium in the Meadowlands.
