One of my guilty pleasures is catching the occasional re-runs of one of the Star-Trek series. Although I'd consider myself a fan, I'm far from the geek level that studies and debates arcane details of the ST universe. An example of one of the debated topics would be the way Klingons looked. In TOS they had smooth foreheads, and later on they developed ridges. The controversy continued until the recent Enterprise episode where they finally offered up an explanation.
